Eckley Miners' Village hosts Patchtown Days every year as a folklife festival with live entertainment, costumed reenactments, craft and dance workshops, and delicious food and beverages available for puchase all day. Visitors can experience what life was really like in an early 20th century coal town.
I was honored to be there to meet readers of all ages and to sign first edition copies of my Rocked in the Cradle of Coal books. It was a great day; You should try to make it next year!
